Your position in our crew

We are looking for a responsible project engineer for our project in Egypt with experience in shipbuilding who has already worked in a shipyard for several years. You manage, plan, organize and monitor the entire production process regarding quality, deadlines and costs right through to the handover of the project to the customer.


  • Preparation, planning, coordination, organization and monitoring of the entire project.
  • Technical monitoring of compliance with all requirements set out in the contract, as well as all applicable standards, practices, quality assurance and control guidelines, performance standards and specifications.
  • Perform overall quality control of work (budget, schedule, plans, staff performance) and report regularly on project status.
  • Review of the services provided in accordance with the specifications and, if necessary, initiation of appropriate corrective measures.
  • Supervision of the project team through effective co-operation and communication with the project manager and other project participants.
  • Temporary replacement of the project manager.

  • Proven management position at a shipyard
  • Completed training as an engineer
  • Knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD
  • MS Office skills
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
  • Decision-making skills and leadership qualities
